Book your journey

A tour package brings the main parts of a trip together in one booking, which makes planning much simpler. To find the right tour, compare a few options side by side.

• Itinerary and pace. Look at the day-by-day programme. A tour that covers several cities in a few days suits some travellers, while others prefer more time in each place.
• Duration and departure dates. Pick a departure date that fits your holiday, and check how many nights the tour includes.
• Hotels and transport. Check the hotel category and how you will travel between destinations.
• Travel style. Some tours work best for families, others for couples or first-time visitors.

Read the full tour details before you book, so the trip matches what you expect from your holiday.

Tour packages differ, so always check exactly what the price covers. Each tour page lists the services that are included and those that are not.

• Often included: accommodation, some or all meals, airport transfers and selected sightseeing.
• Sometimes included: flights, a local guide, entrance fees and travel insurance.
• Usually extra: personal expenses, optional excursions, tips and visa fees.

Also check which travel documents your destination requires, the cancellation conditions and the deadline for sending passenger details. If anything is unclear, contact the travel agency before you pay, so there are no surprises once your tour begins.
